Back-friendly

If a good sling or carrier is like carrying your baby in your arms, it should also support your baby's back like a ‘third hand‘, keeping its spine very slightly ‘hunched‘ and its legs tucked up and spread a little.

Wicklekinder GmbH have consciously refrained from padding the main panel of the manduca®, so that it ‘fits‘ your baby rather than the other way round – just like a wrap sling. 

Hidden, deep tucks in the manduca®'s seat area make sure your baby is held in the correct 'M' position while the leg openings are generously padded for maximum comfort.

Absolute comfort

Parents' maximum comfort is important to Wickelkinder GmbH too: the manduca® has been equipped with shoulder straps which can be adjusted in three different ways and a conically shaped waist belt which is a perfect fit for woman's waists and hips – but will fit dads like a dream too.

Safety first

When you are wearing your baby right up close to your body without any other securing device, the waist belt has a vital role in keping baby there safely.  That's why Wickelkinder GmbH searched high and low to find a waist belt buckle with a three-point fastening system, making it effectively impossible to release accidentally.
